Christina Aguilera To Perform With A Whitney Houston Hologram On The Voice
There is a first time for everything and it looks as though TV producers are pushing the boundaries with their latest adventurous idea.
According to the Metro, Christina Aguilera is set to duet with a Whitney Houston hologram on the US version of The Voice.
Rumours started flying around after a cryptic social media post showed Christina appearing to sing with Whitney.
Finally, our minds have been put to rest and we can confirm that the special performance will actually take place at the end of this month.
The 35-year-old ‘Beautiful’ singer is a judge alongside Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Pharrell Williams on the popular TV show and it is believed the iconic performance will take place before the end of the month.
Houston fans were delighted when Hologram USA announced last year there would be a special Whitney performance in the near future, but now that the date draws closer, the excitement is even greater.
If all goes well, it could pave the way for the company to take Whitney’s virtual likeness on a world tour.
Pat Houston, who is Whitney’s sister-in-law, is highly anticipated for the event to take place: ‘It’s a great opportunity for her fans to see a reinvention of one of the most celebrated female artists in history and to continue a legacy of performances that will not be forgotten in years to come.”
To make sure you witness this groundbreaking duet, be sure to tune into The Voice up until the finale which airs on NBC on May 24.
